Calley Sunderman , Cultural Sites Assistant
Calley Sunderman (she/her) serves as Cultural Sites Assistant at the Erma Hayman House where she provides engaging visitor experience through tours, events, and program support.
Calley holds two bachelor’s degrees, the first in Environmental Resources from Arizona State University and the second in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University. Passionate about teaching and learning, Calley has spent the last four years as an educator at EverWild Forest School and is currently a Wassmuth Center for Human Rights Educator Fellow. Her commitment to building community through activism, joy, and dignity-centered storytelling is at the center of her professional and personal pursuits.
Calley enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son in the outdoors, including hiking Boise’s beautiful trails, river rafting, hot springing, and splashing in the Boise River. An animal lover, Calley is the pack leader of five dogs and two cats, and without fail, says hi to every single dog she meets on the Greenbelt. She is a loyal attendee of Story Story Night, especially their Late-Night shows!
