This is a photo of my sister Ashley and I during Christmas, 1993. We’re at my Grandma’s house in Clear Creek, the one my Grandpa built. I’m wearing an outfit my Grandma sewed for me—notice the rocking Barbie shirt. Sometimes Grandma would even sew matching clothes for Ashley—we were quite the pair!
You’ll also notice in this photo that my sister’s teeth are shining—those are her silver teeth! She got them after she knocked her two front teeth out one night. She hated them, but I loved them—they were always so shiny and pretty. For this Christmas they were very festive!
