Both process and metaphor, collage is an act of renewal that mirrors the principles of reuse and regeneration at the heart of the Consumption and Waste initiative. By cutting, layering, and reimagining discarded materials, each composition becomes an
intentional exercise in sustainability and transformation. Using imagery from vintage magazines and printed archives, this work keeps those resources in circulation, extending their lifespan while symbolizing the circular economy Boise aims to foster.
