"Drawing Lessons" were accomplished by the K-6th grade students in collaboration with Idaho artists Dennis & Margo Proksa. Students were inspired by nature, local history, the multicultural character of their community and concepts of family, peace and the future. Students drew from the heart and experienced art as the universal language that knows no borders, and binds humanity from one generation to the next. The students made connections with one another and residents of the area, both past and in the future.
