Idaho’s natural beauty continues to attract an annual migration of visitors and an emigration of new residents. As the human population grows, there is a 10,000-year-old migration that is quietly waning. Born in the heart of Idaho, steelhead and salmon migrate 900 miles to the Pacific Ocean and 900 miles back to mate and eventually die. Antonia Hedrick's piece tells an ancient story to an urban audience who may observe and listen to their rural surroundings and residents.
