Ray Kane is a professional artist and designer working across a variety of mediums for the last 15 years, from film & television production to themed environments and set design to retail and interior design to illustration. Whatever the job consisted of, determined the medium he worked in. Due to his very broad background of experiences, it has given him a strong set of skills, knowledge and an ability to create and design in a wide array of styles and mediums. Art is Kane's passion, whether he is designing a set or designing a themed environment for a children’s space, painting a mural, designing and building a piece of furniture or just simply sketching. The process on any project is what he enjoys. Not just creating the final piece, but doing the research, planning, hunting for reclaimed items, determining materials, problem solving and engineering, conceptual development – it is all so important, if not more important than the final product. Though he does this for a living, it is not work for him. Kane feels extremely blessed to be able to get up each day and do what he loves to do.
