Growing up in Idaho Jacob Diaz's work is inspired by natural history and wildlife. The rivers and mountains, the little creeks and hidden places, the geology and ecology. His ancestors have lived in the Boise Valley for hundreds of years prior to its founding and Diaz has always maintained a deep connection with the lands of Idaho.
