In the mid-20th century, Boise, like the rest of America, was poised to enter a new future and evolve into a modern city. Yet for some residents, this presented a risk of losing the quiet, small-town character which they felt defined Boise. How was this resolved, and what was culture and life like in Boise after World War II? Travel back to a crucial time in Boise's history and learn how we began our journey towards the 21st century and the city we know today.
