Historian Barbara Perry Bauer will present the history of the bridge as a river crossing and transportation corridor. Bridges serve as essential links throughout the history of Boise and are critical for developing and sustaining our vibrant community. This series of short essays and photos shares the history of the city’s river crossings, the construction of the former Broadway Bridge, as well as its vital role linking South Boise with downtown.
The event is free and open to the public with a book signing after the presentation.
