Our Summer Lecture Series continues with a two-part lecture on what Boise was like in the year 1969. See images of the city and hear stories about the trends and events that defined Boise at the end of the 1960s.

On July 17th, cool cat Brandi Burns, History Programs Manager for the Boise City Department of Arts & History, presents part one of the "Age of Aquarius: Boise in 1969." Come groove out to Boise's past; we'll talk space for the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing, how Idaho contributed to training the astronauts, and other cool aspects of Boise's popular culture.
The music will be fab and the snacks far out. Can you dig it?

On July 31st, hang out with hip Brandi Burns, History Programs Manager for the Boise City Department of Arts & History, for part two of the "Age of Aquarius: Boise in 1969." Be a part of the scene and come chill out; we'll talk about fashion, music, and the best places in Boise to get your threads, tennies, and spend your scratch. Don't flip your wig, we'll have music and snacks. Neato!

Lectures are free and open to the public.
