Conversation with Public Artist Matthew Mazzotta

Come and engage in conversation with artist Matthew Mazzotta on January 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Main + Marketplace on 8th Street near the escalator. Mazzotta, who is developing a new public art project for the planned Westside Downtown Urban Park at 11th & Bannock in downtown Boise, will be hosting conversations with community members from a pop-up living room to gather information which will inform the design process for the new project. Now is your chance to have your voice heard.

About Matthew Mazzotta
Mazzotta, who received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Program in Art, Culture and Technology, a Loeb Fellowship from Harvard University and is currently a Guggenheim Fellow, works at the intersection of art, activism and urbanism, focusing on the power of the built environment to shape our relationships and experiences.
