Story Forward presents the Couch Surfer Artist Series, featuring Hillfolk Noir & K Morgan!

The Couch Surfer Series kicks off 2023 with the bring-it-on work of poet/writer K Morgan and the no holds barred musical stylings of Hillfolk Noir!

K Morgan: Writer, teacher, amateur astrologer and UFO Seeker from Boise, Idaho. They've represented Team Boise as a finalist and group finalist at the National Poetry Slam 2016-2018; served as a feature poet at Treefort Music Festival, Ghosts & Projectors reading series, Helicon West, and more! 

Hillfolk Noir: For more than 15 years, Hillfolk Noir has built a "junkerdash" tradition, integrating acoustic guitar, double bass, and "anything you can find at a hardware store" along with driving drums to produce their unique and celebrated music.

Doors Open at Ochos at 6:00pm; event runs from 7:00pm-9:00pm. FREE and OPEN to those age 21+ . Donations encouraged. Food and drink available for purchase.
