Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”, The Grunch by beatbybeat press tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail? Presented by Arts & History Grant Recipient Treasure Valley Children's Theater, this performance features 25 Treasure Valley Youth ages 8-15.
Performances of The Grunch: A New Children's Musical will be presented outdoors June 23, 6 p.m. at Jump Amphitheater in downtown Boise and June 24, 2 p.m. at Kleiner Park Amphitheater in Meridian. Admission to performances is free but donations are gratefully accepted. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs or blankets for seating.
