About

Cumbia festival will feature over 30 vendors brought to you by Latinas Mercadito, live tattooing by Bad Apple and Leo Munoz, Aztec Dancers, food trucks, classic cars, and more! Free and open to the public from 12-6pm.

Stay for Cumbia Night featuring Sonido Gallo Negro, Lobo Lara, and Ritmo Cascabel. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 6:30pm. Tickets for the evening concert can be found here.

Cumbia Night is being organized and produced by members of the Latino, Chicano and music community of Boise, Idaho. We've come together to present a celebration of Latino culture. Spotlighting Cumbia music, referring to a number of musical rhythms and folk dance traditions of Latin America. Sonido Gallo Negro from Mexico City will be performing with support from Boise's Lobo Lara and Denver based Ritmo Cascabel. In addition to Cumbia, the event will be hosting over thirty vendors during the day at the Shrine Basement including fine artists, tattoo artists, creators, makers and food producers brought to you by Latinas Mercadito.
