June's Artists:
- Rhodes Hull's Magic Band is a vibrant musical group hailing from Boise, Idaho. Known for their electric fusion of surf rock, whimsical rock, scallywag rock, and psych rock. Their unique sound can be described as a captivating blend of the Beatles’ infectious melodies and the Doors’ enigmatic vibes. With their energetic performances and diverse musical influences, they create a sonic experience that transports listeners to a whimsical and psychedelic world.
- Jodi Miller is an abstract/realism artist living in Boise, ID creating collaborative art experiences for the community that includes but is not limited to live art, music, interactive and creative kindness that activates business/partnership exposure. Jodi will be live painting with live music accompanying.
- Rippled Activations is a collaborative project that brings together spoken word poetry, Improvised (narrative based) movement and live violin. This act cannons between the three modes of expression. Engaging in the question of what art means to each of us and what it means to create publicly. This work is a collaboration between three emerging creatives local to Boise. Kamryn Rose Boykin is a visual and time based artist. Kamryn is dedicated to the exploration of the body and using mediums like video, drawing, and performance to delve into the many levels of the psyche. Sydney Blood is a lifelong dancer, choreographer, and aspiring poet. The dynamic movements and poignant poetry in her work cultivate an intense empathy between dancer and audience. Joshua Emara is a self taught violinist who’s gained local notoriety for his dancing violin act. His passion for music has informed his transition from dancer to composing original music set to culminate in an album. Rippled Activations will be doing the three part series, performing through various mediums and with various artists June, July, and August.
