Sidney's Niche
Sidney's Niche, by Boise illustrator Rick Thompson, was a mural painted using bulletin enamel, the same kind of paint often used on billboards. Formerly located on the side of the escalators between Main and Idaho Streets on 8th, the mural depicted the inner workings of an escalator as though the machine were being activated by a rat on a wheel.
