Inspired by distant narratives and lost buildings, this piece gives present-day citizens and visitors a glimpse into the past and a deeper understanding of what lies beneath our modern downtown corridor. The artwork tells four specific stories representing a historical cross-section of this site from 1881-1956. These stories show the early Boise experience which represent minorities and the marginalized, entrepreneurship and journalism, recreation and reprobation.

Boise's remarkable and diverse collection of Public Art is growing each year. Search the collection of paintings, sculptures, murals, installations, mosaics, traffic boxes and much more to fully appreciate the rich treasure that is the City's Public Art.
