Conduct Your Own Research

Want to get some hands-on experience researching on your own? The Main Boise Public Library has a subscription to Foundation Center, an online directory. The resource is only available for In-Library use. Two sets of databases are available:

1. Foundation Directory Online for NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS to search for funding - with profiles of over 100,000 grantmakers; 2.4 million grant records; 4,000 company profiles; and 700,000 grantmaker 990/990-PDFs.
2. Foundation Directory Online for INDIVIDUALS to search for funding - with profiles of foundations that provide financial support for individual grantseekers.

Monday - Thursday: 10:00am to 9:00pm
Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
