Arts For Kids 2009

FREE Art Workshops each Saturday from June 6 through August 8, 2009

City of Boise, Department of Arts and History in coordination with Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC), announce the 2009 Arts for Kids season to be held at the Capital City Public Market.

Workshop Class Description: Three classes are held for each age group (3 to 5 year-olds & 6 to 12 year-olds) at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm  Each class lasts 45 minutes.

The Arts for Kids program offers a wide variety of workshops.  Examples include:

  • Tie Die
  • Summer Hats
  • Jazzy Journals
  • Recycled Juice Carton Wallets
  • Yell Well!
  • Printmaking
  • Painted Fluttery Butterflies
  • Crazy Collage
  • Foil Medallions
  • Stenciling
  • Drawing - Desert & Animals
  • Veggie Prints
  • Rainbow Bracelets & Dancing
  • Wind Socks
