City of Boise Announces Availability of Fund for Art & History Organizations

The City of Boise's Department of Arts & History, through the City Arts & History Fund Program, provides funding to arts and history organizations and individuals.  Grants are awarded to those that provide the broadest benefit to Boise residents and visitors and have a positive affect on the cultural life of the city.  Grant allocation is based on available funding and the evaluation scores of the applications.  $45,000 is available for allocation in two funding categories.

This grant round is for the City's Fiscal Year 2010, which begins October 1, 2009.

DEADLINE:  Friday, August 14, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
Award Announcement:  Mid-September 2009

Guidelines and applications are posted on the Department's website; and applicants are encouraged to apply using the on-line forms.  Hard copies of the materials are available as requested by calling 433-5671 or jcwilson@cityofboise.org.
