Linen District Sculpture Proposals on Public View for Comments
August 19, 2011
Boise-Boise City invited artists to apply for the opportunity to create a sculptural artwork for the Linen District streetscape to add to the vitality of this growing commercial area. A selection panel of stakeholders selected three artist/teams to create proposals-Eileen Gay of Reno, NV, Joshua Wiener of Boulder, CO, and Brown & Cole of San Francisco, CA. The three artist proposals are on public view to receive public comments, which will be shared with the panel before they make their final decision which to commission for Grove Street. The public is invited to view and comment on the works either online at: http://artsandhistory.cityofboise.org/blog/ or visit the proposals in person at the below locations.
