Nominations for the 2011 Mayor's Awards

The Boise Department of Arts and History and the Office of Boise Mayor David Bieter are pleased to accept nominations for the 2011 Mayor's Awards for Excellence in Art and History. Nominations are due March 31st and the event will take place on September 22nd at the Old Penitentiary.

Nominees must have demonstrated distinguished service, creative accomplishment, a record of publication, presentation, or research that enhances the artistic, historic, and broader cultural life of the City of Boise. Any individual or organization is eligible to receive an award. This is the 22nd year for the award and over 80 people and organizations have been honored since its inception.
The winners will be honored on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at a reception and dinner at the Old Penitentiary. Recipients will be acknowledged receive a special commendation from the Mayor.
Nominations must be submitted by Thursday, 3:00 pm March 31, 2011. There will be both a printable pdf and a digital on-line form available for submission. All pdf forms should be printed and mailed to Boise Department of Arts & History at City Hall (see below). On-line forms will be submitted digitally. Nomination Forms
