Seeking Artist to Create Art for Mural for Boise Idaho Airport SRFP 13-064

Boise, ID - Boise City invites artists living in the United States to apply for the opportunity to create a wall mural for Boise Airport. This is an open invitation to artists to submit applications to be considered for the project.Three artists or artist teams will be selected from the applicants and be paid $500 to prepare and present proposal designs.The selected artist's artwork will be scanned, enlarged and printed on vinyl. Completed work is 56' x 24' (artist will NOT be painting on site or at this scale).

When public art projects are over $25,000. purchasing regulations require the City of Boise to use the DemandStar bid process that ensures greater control over the tracking of who has applications in the case that addendums need to be distributed. Once registered for DemandStar, vendors will be notified of applicable opportunities posted by the City of Boise.
