"Razor Sharp and Fast" by Boise Artist Byron
Folwell
Boise- Boise City invites the public to celebrate "Razor Sharp and Fast" by Byron Folwell, a new public art piece located at Idaho Ice World. The metal wall sculpture brings warmth to the cold ice rink through the colorful lights, sweeping arches and curving steel representing the ice skaters speeding around the rink.

Idaho Ice World, operated by Boise City Parks & Recreation Department, is a family-oriented recreation facility. It features ice rinks, multi-purpose room, pro shop, restaurants and other vendors.
This project is a partnership between Boise City Parks and Recreation and the Boise City Department of Arts & History.

The Department of Arts and History was established by City
Ordinance in March 2008 to enhance theBoisecommunity by providing
leadership, advocacy, education, services, and support for arts and
history. The new Department emerged from the former Boise City Arts
Commission, which was established by City Ordinance in 1978 as a
nonprofit city agency to advise and assist the City Council in
development, coordination, promotion and support of the
arts.
