The Fettuccine Forum is proud to present Greg Hahn as the featured speaker on October 4, at the opening session of the 2012-2013 Forum Season. More on the Fettuccine Forum HERE.
 
A shrinking middle class, years of economic uncertainty and an increasing turn to the politics of resentment have helped push people across the country to the ideological extremes-but what does that mean for the average Idahoan? Maybe more than you realize. Idaho Public Television's Greg Hahn uses video, audio, images and close to two decades of experience as a political journalist to explore how we got here and what could happen next.
 
Greg Hahn is the host and producer of Idaho Reports on Idaho Public Television, the longest-running Statehouse news show in the West. After earning degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara and New York University, he worked for 15 years in Idaho newspapers before joining public TV, including 12 years as a political reporter and then editor at the Idaho Statesman.
 
The Fettuccine Forum is a free public lecture series on six First Thursdays throughout the academic year. This years topics supports support Boise's Sesquicentennial (BOISE 150) themes. More on BOISE 150 at  www.boise150.org.

The Fettuccine Forum is produced by the Boise City Department of Arts & History in conjunction with Boise State University (College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs).
 
This season the Forum is sponsored by the Idaho Humanities Council with support from the Office of the Mayor, Boise State Public Radio, Platform Architecture-Design, TAG Historical Research, Preservation Idaho, Idaho State Historical Society, Trademark Sign, and Landmark Impressions. Lively and informal, the monthly event invites the public to interact with politicians, artists, historians, activists, advocates and professionals in an effort to promote good citizenship and responsible growth through education.
