Idaho artists are invited to apply for an opportunity to design a public artwork for the new roundabout on the new 30th Street Extension/Whitewater Park Blvd at the intersection of the boulevard, Stewart Avenue and the entrance to the recently created Esther Simplot Park (ESP). The Veterans Park Neighborhood Association received a grant from the Mayor's Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant Program for this project and will be involved in the art selection process.

The chosen artwork will accord with the themes and recommendations of the 30th Street Arts & Cultural Plan by Stephanie Inman (available through the Boise City Department of Arts & History). The roundabout is the focal point as the main entrance to Boise's largest city park. This work will set the tone for the surrounding neighborhood and be the first art in a roundabout in Boise.

This project has a budget of $30,000. Applications will be accepted until 4PM on Friday, July 12, 2013. Individual or team applications are welcome. CLICK HERE for more information.
